WHO - Who Can Join? YEAH membership is open to any home educating family with students in 5th grade through graduation and post high school individuals who seek to continue their involvement with YEAH.
WHAT - What is YEAH all about? YEAH has three primary avenues of support for its members:
WHEN - When are YEAH activities held? It varies, depending on the activity.
WHERE - Where are the activities held? Activities are held at various locations around the greater metro area. Classes and Workshops are currently being held at Bethany Baptist Church in Roseville.
WHY - Why does YEAH exist? YEAH exists as a service to the homeschool community, is focused on middle school students through post high school individuals. YEAH's goal is to come along side home school families as they journey through the teen years and beyond. Home educated teens need their own support group for fun, socialization, and expanded educational options.
HOW MUCH - How much to join YEAH and how much are the activities? An annual YEAH membership fee is $15.00 per family and YEAH Academy membership fee is $45.00. Click here for details. Memberships run from August 1st to July 31st. Events differ in cost but fees are intended to make the event a break-even activity. See event listings for pricing. Surplus amounts are placed in a YEAH Scholarship Fund used to assist members with tuition for YEAH academic classes.
YEAH is a Minnesota based non-profit, founded in 1988 and plans educational events and activities around the Twin Cities Metro Area and surrounding areas in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
