in receiving emails regarding high school and
college related subjects: like ACT and SAT test
registration deadlines, special workshops such
as financial aid, college open houses, college
fairs, etc. She often gets these opportunities
emailed to her and she puts them on my website
calendar, but know that the website is not
reaching a large audience yet.

Academy (Bethany Church, Roseville) with PSEO courses taught by YEAH tutors who
would be hired by NCU as adjunct professors.

The core values and world view of YEAH and NCU are
both based on a Christian world view, and all
courses will be taught from that
perspective.

continue to hold their current ecumenical,

the approval of eligible YEAH tutors for employment
by NCU.

Central University PSEO courses for
Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 are a variety of courses
in Algebra, Art Appreciation, Business, Communications, Economics, English,
American History, World History, Health
Education, Math, Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, Public
Speaking, Latin, Science, and Spanish. Fall 2011 courses
are being confirmed and will be posted shortly.

College Distance Education PSEO tutorials for
2011-12 will
continue to be offered in History of Western
Civilizations (fall) and Math for the Liberal Arts
(spring),

STATEMENT

PSEO
at YEAH was created to provide academically
challenging curricula taught from a Christian
world view in an atmosphere that is nurturing,
supportive and endorsing of the values of home
educating students and their parents.

As
home school parents, we take great care in the
planning of our precious children's educational
curriculum as well as the selection of outside
instructors who we know will influence our
children not only academically, but also
socially and spiritually.

As
home school parents, we diligently work at the
selection of a post high school college or
university that we believe is best suited not
only for our children's educational needs and
goals, but one that will also positively
influence their life choices in careers and
friendships for the future.

At
YEAH (Youth Educated At Home), we believe that
the same care and planning should go into the
selection of a child's PSEO curriculum and
instructors which will influence not only the
developing child's educational studies, but also
will greatly influence their social and
spiritual lives both now and in the future.

our students come from a hundred mile radius in
every direction, weather and roads can be
dangerous is some areas and perfectly safe in
others.

Families
are urged to make decisions based on the ultimate
safety of their students and drivers.
-
Tutors
and professors will understand if they cannot
attend or are late due to weather related delays. Contact
them ASAP to get updates on course material or
assignments that were missed.

Website
or Email postings are not possible during the day
due to lack access to internet connections at the
church.

Parents,
please be available if your students contact you
with an altered afternoon schedule should weather
turn.
SNOW,
BAD WEATHER & CHURCH FUNERAL ALERTS:
- SNOW
and BAD WEATHER postings for YEAH Academy classes
and YEAH events will be posted here by 11:00 PM the
night prior to bad weather alerts.
- Because
students arrive from a 1.5 hour radius in all
directions of The Academy class site at Bethany
Church and weather can vary so much from area to
area, classes are typically not cancelled but
schedules may be changed for the day.
- SAFETY
FIRST
is
encouraged for our students and families as they
consider their options to driving to
classes.
- CHECK
